I have a passion for creating bespoke, well-crafted architecture, which considers the owner's core values and aspirations for how a space or collection of spaces need to feel. 

 

While aesthetics is one consideration, the way a space feels when occupied and how the site context is considered, is paramount.  It should enhance an occupant's daily experience through considering spatial proportion, light and materiality.  Ideally a space should seek to be formed in a way that reflects the occupant's lifestyle, personality and the way they see themselves using it in future.  That's the challenge which I really relish, as it provides an opportunity to meaningfully connect with the owner in a highly collaborative way to achieve the best outcome.

I have had the privilege to have practiced with well-established and multi-award winning NZ architecture firms like Warren & Mahoney Architects and Studio Pacific Architecture, among others. Whilst with these practices, I gained invaluable experience working on high quality residential projects as well as much larger complex commercial projects. This has provided me with well-rounded design expertise for all scales of work, and the technical ability to deliver the vision.
